Best Heroes in Season 22

07/19/2022
Many heroes may be in a good place in Season 22. Let’s count down the best ones.

In Season 22 from March 16 to June 15, Heroes Evolved has introduced 1 new hero (Prosper) and 21 new skins, along with various hero nerfs and buffs (Buffs: Guan Yu, Elvira, Gideon, Rockman, Dr. Madd, Yang Jian, Tiamat, and E-stein; Nerfs: Psion, Murdoch, Electros, Ying Zheng, Diao Chan, Hattori, Prometheus, Murry, and Master Crane).

By picking right heroes, you will earn more with little effort. Players may have different playstyles, hero pools, and preferred positions, so heroes with high win rate are not always good for all players to score points. Those with moderate win rate may be a better choice for general players to climb the ranks. Heroes with low win rate are usually picked for casual games or just personal preference.

Classes and positions are distributed relatively evenly among heroes in Season 22. Each hero no matter for what position or role you like has a chance to rise to prominence. Generally, heroes with stronger mobility and decent crowd control have a bigger chance to give impressive performance. For example, Ying Zheng, the top-ranked hero, is a mage who will become unstoppable in the late game as he gains really strong crowd control at the max level, as well as high AoE damage. He also has excellent endurance which makes him a popular pick in the season and ensures a leading win rate.

Di Renjie is a ranged marksman ranking No.2 by win rate. He has high damage and strong burst, but he is fragile in the early game and needs to farm up during the period. The bottom lane is suitable for Di Renjie.

Xiahou Dun is a functional tank with crowd control and longer dash. His damage is half physical and half magic. He also excels in maneuvering around and restraining enemies. The top lane is suitable for Xiahou Dun.

Diao Chan is a mage as well as a typical support who gives allies advantages effectively. She is able to deal damage, heal allies, and fetter enemies. The middle lane is suitable for Diao Chan.

Fumiko is a melee assassin who can unleash an apparition to cast abilities as well for additional damage. She can also dash forward or backward to the apparition and make use of the apparition to engage in teamfights for stunning reaping and last hits. Fumiko is suited for the Jungle position. By using the apparition wisely, you can deal a burst of overwhelming damage.

Jeanne is a mage focusing on support. She is able to deal damage in a target area, and also slow a single target who enters the area. With the ultimate ability activated, she can deal damage to surrounding enemies and stun them, providing significant support in teamfights. The bottom lane is suitable for Jeanne.

Mousia is a mage armed with the abilities to move around quickly and survive. The strong ability for survival makes Mousia a good choice for many players. The middle lane is suitable for Mousia.

Murry is a melee tank focusing on strength. With strong defense and crowd control, he has an advantage in farming and teamfights. In the late game, he becomes really strong in initiating teamfights. Murry is suited for the Support position.

Master Crane is an assassin who can quickly support and fly to a destination regardless of terrains. There are two modes for Master Crane: Fly and Ground. The Ground mode is mainly used for combat, while the Fly mode is for quick support and strategic aids for allies.

Athena is a mage focusing on support. She is able to heal allies while damaging enemies and also become immune to any damage within a short time. When using the ultimate ability, she deals huge damage to enemies in range. The bottom lane is suitable for Athena.

The rankings here are made based on all heroes’ overall performance during the whole season. Some of the heroes like Diao Chan and Master Crane have been adjusted in recent updates. For more information, please go to:
