MOBA Phrase
T: Stand for "Tank" (Tanker), high-armor, high HP, Heroes which are able to withstand high damage.
DPS: Known as "damage per second", specially known as heroes that is capable of dealing massive damage on enemy.
Carry: A late core hero that require a large amount of Gold to purchase ultimate set of equipment to form greater power, played as a decisive game changer.
Gank: Known as "Gangbang Kill", one common in-game tactic that refer to two or more heroes gather together to fight against enemy hero using sneak attack, outflank, or ambush. Usually it is a lot of heroes gather together fight against lesser heroes, which also known as "Catching".
Stun: type of skills that contain vertigo effect, also refer as skills that interrupt opponent heroes from casting continuously or move.
Solo: 1 on 1 fight, default rules is: only mid, not returning to base without dead, 2 towers was destroyed or died 3 times will be considered as lose, students called it "Sala".
AOE: Known as "Area of Effect", skills that create effect to a range of area ratio.
Last Hit: Commonly known as a type of skill that deal last damage towards low hp minions, which is dealing last hit of damage to minions and earn the Gold, also known as last hit of damage dealt to heroes and earned a sum amount of Gold.
KS: Short form of "Kill Steal", apply the last hit of damage towards opponent heroes and steal the rewards of Gold and kills count, in fact that the one dealt the most damage are the teammates, also known as "Head Hunting".
Minions Lane: Refers to position line for both parties minions battle.
Opposing Lane: Refers to allied hero and enemy heroes are nearby the minions lane.
Lane Control: The experts control the minions lane using last hit or by skills.
Push: Use skills or high attack to quickly eliminate opponent minions, and lead allied minions march forward to destroy opponent towers.
Clearing Minions: Use abilities or high attack to quickly eliminate opponent minions to earn Gold. Also known as "Farming".
Silence: Able to move, dealt physical attack, but unable to use abilities.
Detention: Unable to move or use physical attack, but able to use abilities.
Stunned: Unable to move, attacksor use abilities.
Fear/Confusion: Unable to operate, hero will move randomly.
Expulsion: Unable to deal or receive damage, but will receive additional magic damage.
Abilities: Each hero has 4 abilities, the default 4 keys is Q,W,E,R, 1st three keys skill max level 4, and the last skills "R" is the ultimate skill, max level 3.
ULTI: Ultimate ability, set default by pressing "R"
Physical Attack: Normal attack. Short form "AD".
Magic Attack: Attack abilities. Shot form "AP".
Armor: Physical Defense, reduction in received physical attack.
Magic Resistance: Magic Defense, reduction in received magic attack.
CD: Short form for "Cool Down", ability cool down period, cool down period for the abilities to be cast again, unable to cast ability during cool down period.
BUFF: Acquired specific buff (special effect) after killing specific jungle monsters, last for a short period of time and will be disappeared later.
Sentry Ward: Invisible wards that allows you to see movements of the surrounding spot withina particular ratios.
Detection Ward: True sight, invincible, able to display surrounding area and the invisibles.
Mega Minions: After the barracks being destroyed, opponent will generate mega minion, mega minion acquires high attack, high defence, and with more HP.
Zakar: Referred as the "Great Dragon", teams that killed the "Great Dragon" will be rewarded team Gold and heroes experience, as well as strong Buff.
Advantage Lane: Interlink with own jungle area,although it has longer lane, but it is the most protected lane.
Disadvantage Lane: Interlink with enemy jungle area, easiest lane to be gangbanged, mostly a lane for heroes that needs experience more than Gold.
Middle Lane: Mostly Solo lane for Magic Hero, shorter lane, but able to quickly backup the wing lane.
