The Fog of War Removed Through Smart Warding

Different from other mobile MOBA games, Heroes Evolved adopts classic Fog of War and Ward features from MOBA games for PC to bring greater uncertainty to matches. By placing wards, players can remove the fog of war and gain advantages in teamfights. The gap between a novice and a master lies in the selection of time and location to place wards. A wise placement of wards is conducive to spotting ambushes, scouting and ganking enemy heroes.
Warding locations are generally divided into two parts: Offensive and Defensive. Offensive wards are used to spot enemy heroes for more effective attacks and ganks, while defensive wards focus on scout and potentially prevent enemy heroes from ganking. The high grounds with both offensive and defensive advantages are always crucial for heroes when pushing a lane. The middle lane has always been considered a high traffic area that needs to be conquered, and also a site for most teamfights. Placing a ward on the enemy’s high ground will grant a full view of the middle lane, being quite cost efficient for you to gank together with allies or avoid ganks from enemy heroes.

Junglers play a key role in speeding up the tempo of the early game. An enemy Jungler may easily find opportunities to assault and put your team at an early tempo disadvantage. Having a defensive ward placed at the enemy’s jungle exit is a great way to know where the enemy Jungler is at all times and stop any ganks that the enemy Jungler, even with Attack buffs, will try to bring to the middle lane.

An offensive ward placed behind an enemy tower gives a clear vision of the whereabouts of enemy heroes. Once it spots an enemy hero who is alone, you can call your allies to perform a tower dive. This ward also allow you to know if any enemy hero is coming for reinforcement.

Instant Teleport for Fast Reinforcement and Escape
You’ve known the importance of warding. Now let’s talk about reinforcing your allies. Warding makes reinforcement easy, while Teleport allows you to travel to your troops or towers immediately. You can also teleport back to the fountain quickly for supplies if you are falling behind in the laning phase. By making good use of the Teleport skill, all members of the team can group together at any time for a sudden teamfight, attacking enemy heroes by surprise.
For example, if your ward placed on the top side of the jungle catches an enemy hero who tries to gank, use the Teleport skill to quickly arrive at the tower in the top lane and work with your allies to counter strike the ganking enemy hero, so as to prevent your allies from being killed and also mess up the pace of enemy heroes.

Teleport has inspires numerous strategies and tactics, including the classic 4-1 formation. This team formation for split pushing has one hero who is good at clearing wave to push a lane and the other four allies group together for teamfights to apply pressure. When all the five enemy heroes are forced to engage in a teamfight and fail to recall in time, they will definitely forfeit a tower in a lane. Mastering the Teleport skill is a huge leap for becoming a MOBA master.
Customized Item Builds for Heroes
Many players feel confused that why similar moves and tactics would lead to completely different results in ranked matches. It’s closely related to the order and schemes about building items. Reasonable item builds have a significant impact on the battle situation.

Special active items to strengthen your hero
Players are allowed to customize the order of item builds before a match start and create custom item schemes in the Standby settings based on the battle situation and personal preference. During a match, players can also pre-order items from the Store to adjust the item builds flexibly. These settings give each hero opportunities to shine and better collaborate with different teammates without limited to the class or role.
Furthermore, there are plenty of active items for players to choose from. All heroes, no matter how brilliant, has their strengths and weaknesses. For example, a control-focused hero may not be able to provide a burst of damage. An assassin can deal tremendous damage, but not tanky enough to survive fights. Fortunately, you can maximize a hero’s strengths and minimize the weaknesses by selecting correct active items based on the battle situation and hero features, getting more advantages in teamfights and improving the whole team’s battle power.
